The Board of Directors of CRB wishes to announce that Cypark and Permodalan Darul Ta’zim Sdn Bhd ("PDT"), a wholly-owned company of the Johor State Government, had entered into an Cooperation Agreement Documents to participate in the WTE Public Private Partnership Project at Bukit Payong, Batu Pahat, Johor Tender issued by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government. Johor Menteri Besar, YB Datuk Ir. Haji Hasni bin Haji Mohammad, who is also the Chairman of PDT, witnessed the exchange of Cooperation Agreement Documents between PDT and Cypark in Kota Iskandar today. Cypark was represented by its Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Daud bin Ahmad while PDT as the investment company of the Johor state government was represented by its Chief Executive, Tuan Haji Lukman bin Abu Bakar. Also present was the Chairman of the Johor State Housing and Local Government Committee, YB Tuan Haji Ayub bin Jamil. The Agreement allows PDT and Cypark to jointly collaborate to explore, develop and resolve the state’s waste management issues using time tested and environmentally friendly technologies which includes the development of WTE projects in the state of Johor. Through this collaboration, Cypark is confident that the joint venture will move Cypark one step closer toward realizing its goal to develop the second WTE project after developing Malaysia's first WTE project at Ladang Tanah Merah, Negeri Sembilan.
