As of 14 May 2024, Dato' Daud bin Ahmad has decided to step aside from his role as Group Chief Executive Officer of Cypark Resources Berhad ("Cypark") and provide the opportunity for Cypark to transition into its next phase as Malaysia's leading Bumiputera-led, renewable energy company.

Dato' Daud led the company since inception with a vision of building an innovative company to help realise Malaysia's mix of renewable energy with pioneering solar and waste-to-energy projects, including Malaysia's first floating solar implementation.

Executive Chair, Dato' Ami Moris and Executive Director, Muhammad Ashraf will lead the company through a leadership transition over the next twelve months in concert with the ongoing Strategic Review the company has embarked upon.
