1. INTRODUCTION

Cypark Resources Berhad (“CRB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that the Consortium comprising its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cypark Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (“CRESB”), and Fabulous Sunview Sdn. Bhd. (“FSSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunview Group Berhad, has received a Letter of Notification from the Energy Commission dated 2 September 2025. The Consortium has been selected as a shortlisted bidder to develop a new 99.99MW large scale solar photovoltaic plant in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (“Project”) under the competitive bidding exercise launched pursuant to the Request for Proposal dated 20 January 2025, known as LSS PETRA 5+. The Letter of Notification also outlines the mandatory requirements to be fulfilled in due course.

2. FINANCIAL EFFECTS

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Project is anticipated to yield sustained positive contributions to Group’s future earnings over the project lifespan.

The costs for the Project will be financed through a combination of internally generated funds and/or bank borrowings.

3. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected to them have any interest, whether direct and/or indirect, in the Project.
